“If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all”
~ Martin Luther King Jr
Suffering sadness, setbacks and disappointments. Coping with real life in a work setting is very difficult. It requires the courage to show up as you after the rejection, beyond the diagnosis, above the sadness. It is a private place in a public arena. And the task is mighty indeed.
Without hope, no matter what the toll, exhaustion and depression seem never far away. Game-Face required. There will be a time when we all take the bow shock; the heaviest of burdens from unknown sources, only to remain in the density of life ~ afloat.
Whatever your burden this day, find inside you the measure of your hope. Through your silent trials allow yourself to listen to that still small voice that always seems to portend wisdom, special only to you.
Out of our hope…comes movement. And with movement—change; and with change—a chance. Make tonight the night your world begins again.
