After getting information and deciding which bank to use, Kenneth was finally ready to open his first checking/saving account with a check from Grandmom. With the money he's been saving since 6th grade and this $1500 check from grandmother, he was happy that he had a good start for his college years.
He got his checking account, saving account, debit card, and on-line banking account set up. Then, Kenneth was informed that the bank could not honor the check.
